SIGMA Electric is an ISO 9001:2008 certified company. SIGMA Electric PLC strictly follows the quality management system manual which fulfills the basic requirements of ISOQUAR UK.

SIGMA ELECTRIC has established, documented, implemented, and maintained a Quality Management System as defined in the Quality Manual.

The Quality Management System is based on a “process approach” to quality management.

The processes needed for the Quality Management System that include, product realization, management, measurement, analysis and improvement, and resource provision processes.

SIGMA Electric PLC’s Quality Management System Documentation includes:

Documented statements of a quality policy and quality objectives,

• A quality manual,
• Documented procedures and records required by ISO 9001:2008, and
• Documents, including records, determined by SIGMA ELECTRIC to be necessary to ensure the effective planning, operation and control of its processes.

Levels of QMS Documentation

LEVEL 1: Quality Manual

Provides the Quality Policy and the method by which SIGMA ELECTRIC meets the standard requirements or refers to procedures, where appropriate.

LEVEL 2: Operational Procedures

Define sequence of activity steps, responsibilities and methods and criteria for effective operation and control of processes. Procedures reference Work Instructions, Forms, Flow Charts and Records, where applicable.

LEVEL 3:  Work Instructions

Provide detailed step-by-step instructions, Work Instructions, Reference Forms, Flow Charts, and Records where applicable.

LEVEL 4:  Forms

Provide documented evidence of implementation.

Quality Manual

SIGMA ELECTRIC has established and maintained a Quality Manual that includes:

• The scope of the Quality Management System including details of and justification for any exclusion,
• The method by which SIGMA ELECTRIC meets the standard requirements or cross-reference documented procedures established for the Quality Management System, and
• Sequence, interaction and descriptions of processes that make up our Quality Management System.
